Frequently Asked Questions

Detailed answers addressing technical integration, inverter compatibility, data privacy, and service scope.

Solar plant monitoring is the continuous collection, processing, and visualization of electrical data from inverters, weather stations, and energy meters. It enables plant owners and EPCs to observe daily generation, verify performance against expectations, and detect faults or communication losses promptly.
Yes, subject to technical compatibility review. If your existing inverter supports authorized cloud API access, has an active data logger, or provides a compatible RS485/Modbus interface, SOLServa can integrate and display your plant's data.
Compatibility depends on specific models, protocols, and communication hardware. We evaluate inverters from major manufacturers (including Sungrow, Growatt, Solis, Polycab, Sofar, GoodWe, Huawei, and others) on a case-by-case basis. We do not claim universal compatibility; we review your specific model before confirming.
Not necessarily. If your inverter already connects reliably to a supported portal with authorized API sharing, additional hardware may not be needed. If your plant has no data logger or uses an unsupported proprietary interface, a compatible 4G or WiFi data logger may be recommended.
Inverter warranty terms vary by manufacturer. Connecting passive communication hardware to standard RS485 ports generally does not interfere with internal electronics, but we advise checking your manufacturer's specific warranty conditions before installing non-OEM logging equipment.
Data frequency depends on the communication protocol and contracted plan. Typical updates occur every 5 to 15 minutes for standard monitoring. Timestamps and the last recorded update time are always visible so users can distinguish live data from delayed updates.
Yes. Critical alerts such as inverter trips, prolonged offline status, and daily generation summaries can be dispatched to authorized WhatsApp numbers and email recipients based on your plan settings.
Yes. Through our EPC Partnership Program, we offer co-branded reporting (where both the EPC logo and SOLServa appear) as well as white-label solutions governed by formal commercial agreements.
Monitoring is the passive detection and recording of operational data and alarms. O&M (Operation & Maintenance) encompasses physical actions, including preventative maintenance, thermography, string testing, inverter repairs, and module cleaning. SOLServa provides monitoring and coordinates O&M ticketing according to your service contract.
Monitoring itself does not produce electricity; generation depends on solar irradiance, equipment specifications, site shading, and cleanliness. What SOLServa guarantees is prompt visibility of faults, reduced downtime through swift alerting, and transparent performance data to guide maintenance.
If the network drops, the dashboard displays an offline status indicator with the last known data timestamp. Many compatible loggers store data locally in buffer memory and backfill records once connection is restored. An automated communication loss alert is dispatched to designated contacts.
We employ encrypted data transfer (HTTPS/TLS), role-based access control, and strict authentication. We never request or store your inverter manufacturer account passwords in public web forms, and customer telemetry is never shared with unauthorized parties.
Pricing depends on total plant capacity (kW/MW), number of inverters, whether hardware loggers are required, and the level of reporting or O&M coordination contracted. We provide clear, itemized quotes following a compatibility review.
